Tardy on the Updates

After much pressure from one of the Horsemen, I have finally gotten around to updating my blog.

It's the 9th week of classes in the winter term and I'm just wrapping up a couple of projects and papers for class before heading to LA for spring break (can't wait to get out of the Eug and back to a big city). I'm also thinking of heading up to the Bay Area for the West Regional Sweet 16 in Oakland. March Madness baby!!!!!!

So, here's a little update from recent weeks

On the weekend of Feb. 24th, I headed up to Seattle to get away from the smalltown-ness of The Eug and enjoy the benefits of a big city. Also, Cal was playing Washington that weekend. Although Cal lost and I ended up scalping a ticket for $40, it was great being there and rooting on the Bears. Seattle was great cuz I was able to eat some great food (clam chowder at Pike's Market, Ezell's fried chicken, a burger at Dick's Drive-thru, great milk tea, Specialty's cookie,etc) that I can't get here in The Eug. I also hit up Ikea and Ranch 99 for some furniture and groceries, respectively.

This past weekend was the annual MBA getaway to SunRiver. I ended up only going from Friday night to Saturday afternoon. Although I didn't have a chance to so skiing/boarding, sledding, or snow-shoeing, it was nice to get out there and see some snow. I had to come back early since Mae was in town from Berkeley to judge the Wushu Collegiate Championships. Mae even brought me a stuffed chicken pizza from Zachary's and a scone and english muffins from Cheeseboard/Arizmendi. Thanks Mae!
