A Great Weekend for the Bears

Just wanted to let my fellow Golden Bears know that I was representing loud and proud and in full force this past weekend as the Cal basketball team came up to Oregon and swept OSU and Oregon. I'm happy to say that I made it to both games. OSU was a cakewalk but the Oregon game proved to be too close for comfort. For the Oregon game, I sat in the first row of the student section in the corner near the Cal bench and next to the Cal VIP section. I was pretty vocal the whole game and the Taiwanese kids sitting a few rows behind me pelted me with foam balls and rolled up hot dog wrappers at the end of the game. No big deal as I was just happy Cal came away with the victory. Next is Stanford on Thursday for 2nd place in the Pac 10.

Other than that, I'm currently in midterms and feeling really exhausted and a bit burned out. I think leaving campus at 5 pm everyday has taken its toll on me a bit.

The coziness of small town (to me) Eugene has gotten to me and I'm itchin to get out of here for a weekend but it doesn't look like that will happen anytime soon. Luckily, it's stopped raining this week (keeping the fingers crossed).
