Spring Update

it's mid-june now and i've officially graduated from the oregon mba. can't believe the 2 yrs went by so fast. it really hit me during graduation that "that was it!" and it's been a solid 2 yrs with my classmates, some of whom i dont know if i'll ever see again. going through that all over again after the first time graduating from Cal. it was a short and sweet graduation ceremony and a great way to spend my last moments as a student.

the day after graduation, my parents and i took a road trip up the Oregon coast to florence, newport, tillamook, and cannon beach. very pretty and relaxing along the coast. at chowder at Mo's, asian-style crab and fresh steamed fish, tillamook cheese and ice cream, fish and chips, etc. wrapped up the weekend by taking my parents to multnomah falls and downtown portland.

also made it out to shanghai during week 8 with paul, doc howard, and randy from school. they went to negotiate with FUON at Fudan University and luckily i got to tag along. while there, i networked a bit with the NBA, Nike, Visa, Wieden+Kennedy, Zou Marketing. hopefully it'll help me get somewhere in my career. i also ate really well at some awesome chinese food places and even CPK, where terry from zou took us. also, a thank you to Lei and Andrew for taking us out to dinner and drinks on the 86th floor of the hyatt, the tallest building in pudon. what a view on a clear night!!!! i also did some great shopping by buying 16 more ties, a few nfl jerseys, and my fake callaway golf bag. also had a couple of sportcoats made. awesome!!!!!

here are some more photos of the final weeks as a grad student
